Why this matters to me. . .

The purpose of this blog is to rally people who are interested in protecting the integrity of the electoral process in NC and beyond. Motivated by groups like the King Street Patriots (of Houston, TX) and their "True The Vote" campaign, I want to make sure North Carolina's elected leaders understand that people are waking up to the danger our nation faces when good people do nothing and bad people steal elections by stuffing the ballot box or by abusing the "motor voter" laws to register fictitious voters.
--
We have taken for granted that our way of electing leaders--while not perfect--was still "good enough" to get the right person elected. That assumption is now changing and people are starting to worry about the numerous reports of voter fraud, but we don't have to sit by and passively wait until our freedoms are gone. Instead, we have an obligation to make sure that the elections are free and fair and that everybody plays by the rules.

As a member of the military for more than 30 years, I'm about to retire; but I'm not setting aside the oath that I swore upon commissioning, which promised to "support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. . . ."

This will be the next great adventure, so check back and feel free to pull up your sleeves and join the effort!
